Hi and thanks for you work on Remofish. I need a little help.

Here's my story.

The cast: Joomla 1.5.18, Remository 3.53,Joomfish 2.1.7, PHP 5, french and english PDF files, all of this operated from a Win 7 32bits PC.

The plot: I want to offer translations of my Remository hosted files, containers, descriptions, titles and URL to be able to switch between french and english PDFs according to the current selected language.

And aaaaaction...
Joomfish is installed, languages are active. I installed the XML below as content elements and Files, Containers and Configuration now appear in Joomfish. I can translate all the data and while browsing thru my remository arborescence, I can switch between french and english container names. But...
When I want to display a file listing within a category, descriptions and titles are not translated.
What is very peculiar is that the file details, displayed after clicking on its untranslated name, are translated.
As if the file listing page would not pick the translated data but the original ones while the file details would do it properly.

Alot of print_r and echo indicate that the file listing page is, sadly, untranslated.

Would you have a happy ending for me?

Best regards

i don't think you need any kind of modification of the joomfish .xml files for Remository. Since the xml simply say to joomfish what tables and fields have to be transaleted.. Joomfish do the rest! :P

First, can you update your joomla to the latest version? You are currently using an old version of j 1.5
Second, update your remository version.. latest is 3.53.13

can you give me the link to your site?

Hello, and thanks for your answer.
I can't give you the link, as it is a secured intranet.
I checked the SQL database. The translations appear, but not in the the frontend.
Ok, at first, I begin with an update.

Maybe there are conflicts between joomfish and joomla templates or with the jquery framework..
First, update joomla. Check about your template..... joomla 1.5.18 was released year ago. ;)
Hope you'll find a solution
