HI!

Suddenly Dominus v1.2 VST turn into unregistered versión but standalone version still is registered.

I use Synapse Orion (32bit) as my main DAW, I can't registered there because for some reason I can't type some characters included in my password, also copy & paste password don't works.

In Cubase (32bit) I can register the plugin, unload, reload the instrument and works. But next time I open Cubase or any other VST host, Dominus VST is unregistered again. :(

My SO is Windows x64 Home Premium SP1.

Thanks for any help...

Hi dmassive.
To use dominus in Orion DAW, please check always running feature in audio settings.

Since the plugin protection always run at samplerate it requires ASIO not to stop. (most of the cases)

What version of Cubase are you using? in that case i may need to investigate more.

What type of characters you're not allowed to write in Orion?

Your issue in any case is related to ASIO I/O. It means that it start with audio off or stop audio when not playing.

Hi!

May be this post in the Synapse Audio forum helps, they say is something related to FlowStone:
forum.synapse-audio.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=10694

Synapse Orion v8.504 (32bit)
Cubase Elements v7.0.7 (32bit)

In Orion I can't type for example "$".

Have you solved with Orion checking "always running" feature?.
Thanks for reporting this.

About typing characters in Orion there's no way for me to change this but..
Dominus use the same "key" for standalone and VST version. So if you activate Dominus in stand-alone it will work also in VST version.

I tested Dominus in both Orion (with the always running mode ON) and Cubase 6 LE and i have no licensing issues.

Another things to give a try is to locate your key file directory in order to see if it saves correctly.

Do that:
Press Windows + Q (or go search)
Type %appdata% and press enter
Windows Appdata folder is now shown in explorer
Check the structure:
Dominus\User\ and a file data.tcx

Are the folders available and the file presents? if not, create the folders or uninstall Dominus and reinstall again. (should fix).

If all files and folders are OK, the issue is about the stopping of audio.

About your thread @ Orion forum, next update should fix the issue you reported because the new version of Flowstone framework now fixed that multiple instance and quit plugin error causing crashes on Orion DAW.

In Orion... setting "Always Running" before insert any instance of Dominus... works, and the license is not removed for others hosts as happened before...

All folders structure are Ok as you said.

Thanks.
